“It has become a good tradition to honor best agrarians in Mogilev Oblast during one of the country's biggest festival. This shows that your responsible and hard work is always appreciated. Agriculture remains one of the most important economic sectors of the region,” Mogilev Oblast Governor Leonid Zayats said at the ceremony.
According to Leonid Zayats, given tough competition farmers need to use efficiently the available agricultural resources that are invested, including by the state, in rural development, construction of new production capacities, modernization and technical re-equipment of processing enterprises. “All our actions should be aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the work in order to create the economic base for the growth welfare of all workers in agriculture. Work of farmers requires strong spirit, professional and dedicated people. You are such people,” the governor noted.
He sincerely congratulated the participants of the ceremony with their high professional achievements. He wished farmers health and successes, and strength to accomplish the tasks set forward by the country's leadership. The best workers were awarded honorary diplomas, commendation letters from the regional authorities and cash awards.
