A tactical exercise involving the reconnaissance battalion of the 120th Independent Mechanized Brigade will take place in the Borisovsky exercise area in Minsk Oblast on 21-23 April, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The battalion will practice reconnaissance actions in the course of a defensive action. The purpose of the exercise is to evaluate training levels of the officers and the preparedness of the army unit as a whole.
The exercise will allow commanding officers to practice their decision-making skills, practice continuous and steady command of units while carrying out reconnaissance tasks in the course of a defensive action. The exercise will allow the personnel to polish their practical combat skills and improve their endurance.
