V International Competition of jazz and pop music Jazz-Time - 2014 will be held in Saligorsk from 16 to 18 May , BelTA learned from head of the department of folk art , cultural and leisure activities , and educational institutions the main department of ideological work , culture and youth Minoblispolkoma Eugene Astashev .
The competition program , which will be held in the children's art school Soligorsk includes listening to young musicians in the categories " instrumental soloists . Piano ," " The Soloist -instrumentalist ," " Small instrumental ensemble ", " Instrumental Ensemble " and " orchestra " . This year, the Jazz-Time will gather around 400 participants , including 69 solo instrumentalists , 17 ensembles and 10 orchestras. In addition to musicians from different regions of Belarus are expected contestants from Moscow , Zhukovsky , Yaroslavl and Smolensk.
Performances will be judged competent jury, composed of representatives of Belarus, Russia and Sweden. Chairman of the jury will be honored artist of Belarus Vladimir Tkachenko. Will evaluate the contestants including the famous Russian composer, professor of the Moscow State University of Culture and Arts and the Academy of Music Jury iron.
