Red Cross volunteers train to assist in extreme conditions on maneuvers in the Volozhin district

Third International Workshop on Emergency Preparedness Belarusian Red Cross opens in Volozhin district (Minsk region). BelTA learned Chief Specialist of Public Relations and Media of the Belarusian Red Cross (BRC) Elena Sveshnikov.

The exercise will be played emergency scenario which is as close to real events. People who, according to legend, are complex extreme conditions, it will be necessary to provide urgent assistance.

First take part in the exercises volunteer groups from Ukraine (representatives of the detachment of the Red Cross provided first aid to the civilian population during the unrest in Kharkov), volunteer groups from Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Latvia. By the way, the consolidated BRC volunteer squad will be strengthened Kennel search and rescue squad.

It should be noted that the first observers and experts on exercises will include representatives of law enforcement agencies of the Republic, the Ministry of Emergencies of Belarus, Minsk Regional Office for Emergency Situations, Republican special forces MOE, traffic police, the Ministry of the Interior, as well as representatives of the military part of 3310, the Ministry of health Volozhinski executive committee.
