Belarusian firms propose to create a near Minsk Disneyland. This initiative was made by the representatives of the tourist industry today at a meeting of the Coordinating Council for the Development of Tourism in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
As representatives of the tourism industry in Belarus are becoming increasingly popular five-day tours. Traditionally a part of a vacation package for five days include several excursions, the most popular of them - it's sightseeing tours in Minsk, a trip to Niesvizh Mir locks, "Dudutki." On top of that firms are willing to offer to foreign visitors travel to regions of the country, but mainly tourists stay in Minsk and prefer to visit objects that can be reached from the capital for two hours. Therefore, the travel company offering open near Minsk amusement park, which could take at the same time a large number of guests.
Representatives of the tourism industry also proposed the creation of additional infrastructure at the Museum of Folk Architecture and Life in the village of Small Lake (Strochitsy). According to them, this complex attracts tourists from many countries. In the future, it may become one of the most visited attractions in the country, experts say.
Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Igor Karpenko endorsed these ideas. "It is necessary to choose an existing complex and update it or create a new object near Minsk, which could be included in the travel programs for a few days. Strochitsy About ... The initiative should be discussed with the Ministry of Culture and together come to a decision," - he said.
