19 декабря 2023года на базе Воложинской районной организации ветеранов состоялось диалоговая площадка, посвященная обсуждению встреч с ветеранами, одинокими людьми, домами престарелых в канун празднования Нового года и Рождества.

A direct flight will connect Minsk and the Chinese city of Sanya, Hainan Province, BelTA has learned.

From January 2024, the Chinese airline will launch a direct flight from the city of Sanya, Hainan Province, to Minsk using an Airbus A330-300 (279 seats in Economy Class and 24 in Business Class). Flights will be operated twice a week (on Tuesdays and Saturdays).

The new flight will contribute to the development of tourism, economic and trade relations between the two countries and promotion of mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of the two countries. "The launch of this flight is another milestone in our relations. This will open up new opportunities not only for tourism and recreation, but also for establishing mutually beneficial business cooperation," Minister Counselor of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus Luo Shixiong said.

"This is a new promising destination for Chinese tourists. Belarus is a clean country with a good ecology. Citizens of the People's Republic of China will be interested in agro-ecotourism, sport, business, and health tourism here," said Zhao Qingqiu, head of the Committee for Tourism Cooperation with the People's Republic of China at the Belarusian Union of Travel Industry, Secretary General of the Association of Chinese Companies in Belarus. “I think the price of tickets will be affordable for Belarusians. We are now studying the market. We plan to sell not only tickets, but also offer tickets with vouchers. The flight will be 11 hours long."

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko convened a meeting to discuss the state of things at the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation (BNBC) and matters related to land reclamation on 19 December, BelTA has learned.

Taking part in the meeting were government members, heads of government agencies, governors, and scientists. Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that such a composition of participants usually means that the most pressing, strategic matters are brought for consideration.

“We need to discuss two very important topics today - the development of the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation and progress to implement the land reclamation program on the ground. It's already been a year since the unique large-scale production was solemnly launched at BNBC. We are still proud of this kind of production. All conditions were created to launch these operations. And we agreed that we would support the project in every possible way,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

At the same time, according to the head of state, things at the enterprise are proceeding not exactly as planned.

“The State Control Committee that was instructed to carefully examine the situation at BNBC reports that there are significant shortcomings and problems with the utilization of the facility's capacity and the sale of finished products. All this negatively affects the financial performance of BNBC (sure thing!). I would like the government to put forward a clear algorithm for eliminating all existing shortcomings and maintaining financial stability at the enterprise,” the president said.

Aleksandr Lukashenko first of all asked about progress to fulfill production plans and implement the export strategy. He also asked what needs to be done (if anything) to maintain the balanced development of the corporation.

“I want you to understand: this project is vital for our reputation, it is a very important technological project for our country. You know how much it cost not only me, but also the state,” said the Belarusian leader.

Сорочи, Любанского района. Детский хореографический коллектив “ТЭСС”  был награжден дипломом участника фестиваля-конкурса «Гарэзлівыя чаравічкі».

16 декабря 2023 года детский хореографический коллектив «ТЭСС» ГУК «Ивенецкий Дом культуры» (руководитель – Екатерина Александровна Бибик) стал участником ІІ-го открытого регионального фестиваля-конкурса детского любительского хореографического творчества «Гарэзлівыя чаравічкі», который состоялся в аг. Сорочи, Любанского района. Детский хореографический коллектив “ТЭСС”  был награжден дипломом участника фестиваля-конкурса «Гарэзлівыя чаравічкі».

Праздничная программа включает в себя чаепитие с блинами и творческую мастерскую, где дети смогу сделать новогодние украшения своими руками.
