Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has heard out a report on the work of the Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen, BelTA has learned.

Attending the meeting were Chairman of the Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen Igor Shunevich and Deputy Prime Minister Leonid Zayats.

Addressing Igor Shunevich, the head of state said: “As far as I understand, you initiated this conversation because the decision taken by the government is not exactly what the Society wants.”

The president noted that all these issues will be tackled at the state level excluding any departmental interests. “You understand that there are state interests, personal interests, the interests of the Society. We should approach these issues smartly, in the best interests of the state and members of this organization,” said the Belarusian leader.

One of the talking points was the production of ammunition for smoothbore weapons. “I don't see any problem here. Let's think of the best way to do it,” said the head of state.

Another issue dealt with adjustments to laws regulating the circulation of weapons and ammunition. “We can also consider this issue,” the president noted.

The next topic concerned the regulation of the number of animals and birds listed in the Red Book of Belarus. “This issue is of paramount importance for the state, it is crucial for the image of our country,” the head of state remarked.

A separate issue had to do with the charter of the public association. “What is there that caused the dissension with the government?” the president asked.

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed readiness to discuss a number of other issues relevant to the interests of the state: “Like your claim for a separate building in Minsk; this issue has allegedly not been resolved yet. And a number of pending issues that got stalled at the level of government officials up to the president.”

On 10 November, the Third Committee of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly adopted by consensus the traditional Belarusian resolution " Improving the coordination of efforts against trafficking in persons”, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The resolution, which has been adopted by the UN General Assembly since 2006, is a practical contribution to the development of the initiative put forward by Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko at the UN summit in 2005 to build a global partnership to combat trafficking in human beings.

The document has a significant number of co-sponsors (more than 40 states) representing all regions of the world, which testifies to the relevance of the Belarusian initiative and the high level of confidence given to Belarus in consolidating international efforts to combat trafficking in human beings.

The resolution ensures that the UN continues to give consistent priority attention to the issue of combating trafficking in human beings and is a one-of-a-kind umbrella, universal document on this topic.

The document brings together all the individual thematic initiatives in the field of combating trafficking in human beings promoted by states in the UN. In practice, the resolution demonstrates the ability of the international community to overcome the fragmentation that previously existed in the UN and serves as an additional platform for further strengthening international partnership on such an important issue.

The resolution reflects the integral contribution of universal and regional organizations and mechanisms to combat trafficking in persons, including within the framework of the Inter-Agency Coordination Group against Trafficking in Persons, a number of UN entities (the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, the Office on Drugs and Crime), the OSCE and others.

The resolution focuses on a number of recent global challenges that the international community continues to face in the fight against human trafficking. In particular, attention is drawn to trends in the use of information and communication technologies for trafficking in persons. There has been an increase in the number of migrants among victims of human trafficking. It also calls on the international community to step up measures to assist victims of trafficking.

12 ноября 2023года в канун праздника сельского хозяйства и перерабатывающей промышленности ветераны первичной организации Маслосырзавода  встретились в теплой обстановке за чашкой чая и обсудили работу своей первичной ветеранской организации. Много было высказано трепетных воспоминаний о совместной работе на предприятии. Все ветераны очень благодарны своему председателю Остапович М.М. за активную работу и возрождение ветеранской организации. На встрече присутствовала председатель совета ветеранов Тиганина Т.Ф.

11 ноября 2023года  Воложинский район посетила Министр труда и социальной защиты Ирина Костевич. Во время визита глава ведомства встретилась с работниками Воложинского территориального центра социального обслуживания населения в рамках темы Единого дня информирования «Экономическая безопасность – ключевое условие устойчивого развития белорусского государства».

На встрече присутствовали председатель районного совета ветеранов Т.Тиганина и ветераны первичных организаций.

С посетителями отделения дневного пребывания для пожилых граждан за чашкой чая шёл разговор об активном долголетии. Очень заинтересовала министра работа клуба «Ретроспектива», в рамках которого проводится ретро-терапия: работа с воспоминаниями по фотографиям.

Во время визита глава ведомства встретилась с работниками Воложинского территориального центра социального обслуживания населения в рамках темы Единого дня информирования «Экономическая безопасность – ключевое условие устойчивого развития белорусского государства».

Ирина Костевич отметила, что на социальную службу возложена самая ответственная функция, которая есть в нашей стране.

– Наша отрасль особенная. Особенная потому, что мы отвечаем за человека: от рождения до его последнего вздоха, – подчеркнула Ирина Анатольевна. – Население стало жить дольше, а это можно расценивать по-разному: хорошо, потому что растёт продолжительность жизни – и это нас радует. Но, почему население стареет? Потому что молодёжь сегодня пересмотрела свои ценности, и, если раньше в семье было 4-5 детей, то сегодня хорошо, когда решатся на одного. Это серьёзная проблема, которая накладывает отпечатки на те вопросы, решение которых требуется в масштабах государства. Поэтому наша отрасль будет востребована всегда. И она будет прирастать только с точки зрения потребности и объёма услуг, в которых будет нуждаться пожилые люди. А их с каждым годом будет становиться всё больше. Поэтому социальная служба в ближайшие 5-10 лет будет нести серьёзную нагрузку. В связи с этим задача министерства – в масштабах государства перестроить работу.

По словам Ирины Костевич, подготовлен проект закона «О социальном обслуживании»: он прошёл уже первое и второе чтение, находится на рассмотрении в Совете Республики, должен быть принят уже в этом году. Социальная служба выйдет на другой уровень развития. Мы будем внедрять новые механизмы адресности – адресность помощи человеку. Это в плане социальных услуг. Второе направление – долговременный уход. Наша задача – сделать бесшовную помощь, то есть так выстроить  взаимодействия социальной сферы со здравоохранением, чтобы человек понимал, кто ему будет оказывать эти услуги, и помогать выйти из этой обусловленной потери здоровья. Третье направление – трансформация домов-интернатов для пожилых граждан и инвалидов в пансионаты, где людям можно было бы проживать комфортно, – рассказала министр.

Министр труда и социальной защиты ознакомилась с работой отделения реабилитации, абилитации инвалидов которое находится в современном отремонтированном здании по улице Набережной, побеседовала с его посетителями.

Бывших милиционеров не бывает. Ветеранов районного отдела внутренних дел в торжественной обстановке поздравили с праздником.

Встреча прошла в теплой и дружественной атмосфере в кинотеатре «Юность». Среди почетных гостей на празднике были начальник Воложинского районного отдела внутренних дел Андрей Дадыченко, ветеран УВД Минской области Константин Цыбульский.

В своем выступлении Андрей Дадыченко подчеркнул:
— Ветераны РОВД – наш «золотой» запас, который делится не только своим профессиональным опытом, но и всегда готов защищать интересы Родины. Вы находитесь на страже порядка до сих пор. Благодарю вас, что вы поддерживаете молодых сотрудников и сохраняете лучшие милицейские традиции.

Everything must be done to ensure that tragedies like Khatyn never happen again, France's Chargé d'Affaires in Belarus Ludovic Royer told reporters as he visited the Khatyn memorial complex near Minsk on 10 November, BelTA has learned.

"11 November is observed as Remembrance Day in Europe. Every year, we, together with the British Ambassador, the U.S. Ambassador when he is in Minsk, visit different places. Last year we went to the cemetery in Minsk, this year we chose Khatyn. We were here in March. I first came here in 2005. We have a similar place in France called Oradour-sur-Glane. A similar story happened there, as in Khatyn or other places in Belarus during the Second World War. So it's a very familiar place for me. This is symbolic, and it is important for us to be here at least once a year," Ludovic Royer said.

The French Chargé d'Affaires in Belarus is convinced that a diplomat working in Belarus should know what Khatyn is. "Therefore, we are well aware of the horrors that happened here. Of course, we must do everything to ensure that this never happens again. Our job is to do everything to make sure this [the tragedy of Khatyn] is not forgotten. I see groups of students here and understand that it is important for the country so that history is not forgotten," he said.

When asked why some countries have forgotten about the feat of the Soviet people during the war, the French diplomat expressed the opinion that this can be part of politics. He noted that during the Second World War there were two fronts. "You can't be involved in politics if you don't know history," he said.

On 10 November, Chargé d'Affaires of France in Belarus Ludovic Royer and UK Ambassador to Belarus Jacqueline Perkins visited the Khatyn memorial complex. The diplomats laid flowers at the Eternal Flame. They also visited the museum and left entries in the museum book.

Belarus remains committed to deepening relations with Latin America, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz in Minsk on 10 November, BelTA has learned.

“What remains unchanged is that we, as a high-tech country, will keep building relations with Latin America. While doing so, we will rely first and foremost on Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua. We are viewing your visit from this standpoint. We really hope that we will be able to significantly intensify our trade and economic relations. We are not happy that our trade slightly exceeds $10 million,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

The president suggested that Belarus and Cuba use their best endeavors to deepen trade and economic interaction so that it will catch up with the level of political and humanitarian contacts.

In turn, Manuel Marrero Cruz thanked the Belarusian head of state for the opportunity to meet and for the warm welcome for the Cuban delegation. “We appreciate the cordiality that we have felt from the moment we arrived; your warm reception makes us feel at home,” he added.

The prime minister also conveyed greetings to Aleksandr Lukashenko from the leadership of Cuba and personally from President Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez, who, according to him, cherishes memories of his visit to Minsk in 2019.

“I have listened to you very carefully and I completely agree with what you have said. Your analysis of bilateral trade and economic relations is very accurate. I share your opinion. We are also determined to change this situation,” Manuel Marrero Cruz said.

According to him, the prime ministers of Belarus and Cuba need to undertake comprehensive efforts to improve the situation and flesh out cooperation with specific projects.

The Cuban head of government arrived in Belarus on an official visit on 9 November. He is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko, leaders of both chambers of the Belarusian Parliament and members of the National Assembly's working group on cooperation with the Cuban Parliament. While on a visit to Belarus, Manuel Marrero Cruz will learn more about the capabilities of the Belarusian manufacturing sector and meat and dairy industries.

This year, trade between Belarus and Cuba has gained momentum. In January-September, trade reached $10.5 million, with the growth rate hitting 307% year-on-year. The surplus for Belarus has increased almost 9 times to total almost $8 million. The export of services is also growing (by more than 20%): in January-July it amounted to $155,200. Last year Belarus provided business services to Cuba. This year these are mostly telecommunications, computer and information services.

The two countries are working to increase bilateral trade. In July, a Belarusian delegation headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik paid an official visit to Cuba. During that visit the parties discussed the entire range of Belarus-Cuba relations and ways to intensify them, including through the mechanism of the bilateral commission on trade and economic cooperation. Traditionally, special attention was paid to the supply of Belarusian equipment and spare parts, popular food products and other Belarusian goods. During the meetings, the Belarus-Cuba cooperation and promising joint projects in science, biotechnology and pharmacology were discussed in great detail.

Великий древнегреческий философ Сократ говорил, что профессия врача – от Бога. В ней случайных людей не бывает. Врач общей практики Марина Нехвядович много лет отдала медицине. Она никогда не позволяла и не позволяет себе быть равнодушной, ведь на нее надеются, ждут помощи и поддержки.

Марина Александровна – коренная воложинка. Здесь она родилась и выросла. Сразу же после окончания средней школы № 2 райцентра поступила в Витебский государственный медицинский университет. К своей мечте стать врачом шла целенаправленно. Еще в школьные годы она решила, что хочет лечить людей и обязательно станет доктором.

Со специализацией наша героиня определилась в процессе учебы. Изначально ей очень нравилась эндокринология, но выбор сделала в пользу терапии и ничуть не жалеет об этом.

В августе 1997 года Марина Александровна приступила к трудовой деятельности в Першайской участковой больнице. Вскоре молодой специалист перешла в Воложинскую центральную районную больницу, где появилась вакансия врача-терапевта на сельском приписном участке. Теперь она – врач общей практики на первом городском участке, куда входят 18 улиц вместе с прилегающими к ним переулками, и где проживают без малого 1600 человек, почти третья часть из которых – люди старше трудоспособного возраста.
