В пятницу, 9 сентября в жизни Воложинской молодежи произошло знаковое событие – слет молодых специалистов. В Белокореце собралось более 80 молодых специалистов из различных сфер деятельности. Во время слета состоялся открытый диалог с руководством района, на котором были обсуждены вопросы, касающиеся проблем молодых специалистов: жилье, досуг, условия труда.
Делегация Воложинского района поучаствовала в обласном этапе республиканской информационно-просветительской акции "Беларусь адзiная", которая проходила в г.Борисове
В преддверии Дня народного единства, Воложинское районное объединение организаций профсоюзов не остаётся в стороне. Единство-это надёжный щит нации, готовой сплотиться в трудный момент, залог стабильности и основа для дальнейшего развития. Своим дружным коллективом поздравили с наступающим праздником детей, воспитанников Ивенецского детского дома интернат с передачей торта авторской работы: сердца на ладонях из своих рук как символ единства, доброты, взаимопомощи. Мы - вместе! Наше единство - наша малая родина! А также поздравили 2 семьи беженцев. Приняли участие Снежана Нахай и Тамара Яныш.
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko will go to Uzbekistan on a working visit on 15-16 September in order to participate in a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), BelTA has learned.
The summit will take place in Samarkand. The Belarusian head of state is expected to make a speech at an extended-participation session of the SCO Heads of State Council on 16 September. Aleksandr Lukashenko will outline priorities of Belarus' interaction within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, including taking into account the previously submitted application for Belarus' accession to this organization as a full member. Belarus enjoys the observer status in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization at present. Topical items on the international agenda will also be discussed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko is expected to meet with foreign colleagues on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit. They will discuss primarily bilateral affairs and the advancement of cooperation in key avenues.
The Belarus president will also take part in a number of informal events Uzbekistan has organized for participants of the summit.

Day of People's Unity is a tribute to the epoch, which gave the Belarusians the right to take their place on the world map, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at a ceremony to present state awards in the run-up to Day of People's Unity celebrated in Belarus on 17 September, BelTA has learned.
“In the Year of Historical Memory I believe it important to emphasize that 17 September has made its return to our national holiday calendar not only as a reminder of the value of freedom and independence but also as a tribute to the era that gave us, the Belarusians, the right to take our place on the world map,” the head of state said.
“We will remember it, as well as the fact that we established ourselves as a nation, a state, won the Great Patriotic War, revived the country from the ashes and even surpassed certain countries in the exploration of space, nuclear energy, biotechnology thanks to the people of labor,” said Aleksandr Lukashenko.

The current COVID-19 incidence rate is half of what was registered last autumn, BelTA learned from Belarusian Healthcare Minister Dmitry Pinevich.
According to Dmitry Pinevich, a certain increase in incidence rate was expected. Weather is partially to blame for it. “The number of infectious disease cases always rises at this time [of the year],” he stressed.
“We've seen a small increase but it is much lower than last year. We are working absolutely calmly,” the official noted.
Dmitry Pinevich went on saying that the current workload of medical professionals is certainly higher than it was in summer.
On 14 September in anticipation of the People's Unity Day representatives of the Belarusian Women's Union branch of the Belarusian state light industry concern Bellegprom decided to support medics, who face various infections, including the coronavirus one. They donated individual protective gear to the Minsk City Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital.

On 14 September a Belarusian delegation will head for the 15th edition of the Youth for the Union State festival, BelTA learned from the Youth Variety Theater.
The BRSM Youth Union has done the necessary preparatory work and formed a delegation consisting of 100 Belarusian representatives from every region of the country. They are university and school students, young workers of various organizations and enterprises, united by the desire for creativity and friendship between the youth of Russia and Belarus. A solemn departure ceremony is scheduled for 14 September.
According to Art Director, coordinator of the festival participants from Belarus Aleksandr Dolzhevsky, the program of the forum promises to be rich and interesting. The festival week will include a grand opening of the festival, a contest of young singers, the Union State youth concert relay “When we are united, we are invincible” across the towns of Smolensk Oblast, a concert for war and labor veterans “Belarus and Russia - with Love for the Motherland!”, the Union State youth patriotic campaign “Candle of Memory”, a musical evening devoted to the national traditions of the Belarusian and Russian regions “We sing and praise our native land”, a show quiz dedicated to the year of national art and non-material cultural heritage, the sports marathon of the youth of Belarus and Russia “Race of Heroes”, the Miss Festival contest, the closing ceremony of the Youth for the Union State festival, a gala concert and a farewell white night of the festival.
At the initiative of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia the 15th edition of the Youth for the Union State festival will take place in Smolensk Oblast, the Russian Federation on 14-19 September. It is a large-scale creative and educational forum aimed at creating a common cultural space of the Union State, strengthening of friendship between the youth of Russia and Belarus, promoting the best ideas in the modern youth movement and establishing cooperation between youth organizations of the two countries. The previous festival was held in Rostov-on-Don in 2019. In connection with the relaxation of the current coronavirus restrictions, the MPs of the Parliamentary Assembly decided to resume this large-scale youth forum in 2022.

Over 230,000 foreigners have visited Belarus as part of the visa-free travel program, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
Over 230,000 foreigners have availed themselves of the opportunities the Belarusian visa-free travel program offers. As many as 149,413 Lithuania citizens, 58,945 citizens and 17,979 non-citizens of Latvia have come to Belarus since 15 April thanks to the visa waiver. Apart from that, about 7,000 citizens of Poland have used their right to enter Belarus without visas since 1 July.
