Thailand's honorary consulate in Belarus to open for visa applicants soon

MINSK, 25 November (BelTA) – Thailand's Honorary Consulate in Belarus will start receiving tourist visa applications in the near future, BelTA learned from the honorary consulate.

“All the necessary preparations to receive documents have been completed. We are expecting final permission from the Thailand Embassy in Moscow. We will start receiving documents in the near future,” the consulate said.

Documents will be received for opening a single entry tourist visa for up to 60 days with the possibility of its extension in Thailand for up to 30 days.

To get a visa one needs a package of documents, including medical insurance, covering all the costs of treatment, including COVID-19, in the amount of at least $100,000 during the stay in Thailand. To enter the country travellers will need a negative PCR test result for COVID-19.

The cost of a single entry visa will be $40 plus a fee of Br35.
