Belarusian Communications and Informatization Minister Konstantin Shulgan made the statement during the opening ceremony of the exhibition held as part of the TIBO 2019 forum on 9 April, BelTA has learned.
According to Konstantin Shulgan, good initial conditions for the successful digital transformation and for ensuring the competitive ability of the economy have been enabled in Belarus. The forum's format was worked out taking into account the priority development tasks formulated by the head of state and the government. Along with stands of leading Belarusian and foreign telecommunication and IT companies, and innovative startups the expo features collective stands of industries as well as a national exposition of Azerbaijan.
“The main purpose of the forum is to assist with the effective digital transformation of the economy and the state administration system. TIBO vividly demonstrates how information technologies can be effectively used in various spheres of activity,” Konstantin Shulgan noted.
