Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has expressed condolences to French President Emmanuel Macron and the people of the country following the tragic fire that set ablaze the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The head of state stressed that Belarusians were deeply saddened to learn the news about the incident. “We share with the French people the bitterness of a great loss for all the Christians and the international community and hope for the rapid restoration of this outstanding monument of world architecture,” said Aleksandr Lukashenko.
