In Minsk will be an annual competition "The best public associations engaged in the field of environmental protection." Instructions to hold it in decision Mingorispolkom №126, released today at the National Legal Internet Portal, BelTA has learned.
The competition is held annually from May 1 to November 1 in order to promote education and respect for nature, to improve the environmental culture, preservation and restoration of the natural environment parks, squares of the capital, as well as improve the efficiency of public associations, their moral and material incentives for activities in the field of environmental protection.
The participants must submit no later than April 20 statement, no later than November 10 - a certificate of their activities. Defined evaluation criteria: the number of Subbotniks conducted in-house and with the involvement of citizens; effectiveness of interventions for the reproduction of flora objects; the results of activities to promote public authorities in matters of environmental protection; the number and relevance of media appearances on the subject. For each of the evaluation criteria of the competition is given from 1 to 5 points.
The Commission not later than 1 December will review the documents for the competition and the evaluation sheets, sums up. The winners are the participants with the highest number of points. They were awarded diploma and a cash consideration paid: in the first place - to 20 basic units, for the second - to 15 basic units, for the third - to 10 basic units (1 VWD now - Br180 thousand.).
Funding is provided from the budget of Minsk.
