Minoblispolkoma Award "Man of the Year of Minsk region" handed today 20 representatives of the region. The ceremony took place in Zhodino, BelTA has learned.
In presenting the award, Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Semyon Shapiro noted that last year the Minsk region has achieved good results of socio-economic development, and this year, the region continues to develop dynamically. "This has the great merit of managerial staff and, of course, all the workers of the region. These are people who show us their honest work is an example of how to work", - said the chairman of Minsk City Executive Committee. Congratulating the winner, he wished them to be leaders in their fields of activity.
The winners of the regional competition has traditionally been defined in three categories. For example, in the category "productive activities" were considered the best 10 people for achievements in the non-manufacturing sector awarded 6 members area. Four people were reported in the category "Political activity".
The award "Person of the Year Minsk Region" was established in 2011 to encourage creative work, promote innovative ideas, best practices and recognition of achievements in production, creative and social activity.
