Territorial social service centers (TTSSON) Minsk region on the eve of the Day of Persons with Disabilities is planned a number of activities aimed at attracting public attention to the problems of people with disabilities and expanding the range of their interests, BelTA learned from the Committee on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of Minsk City Executive Committee.
The two sides said they held charity events, cultural events, exhibitions, contests of creative works of disabled people, round table with heads of state and public organizations, direct dial telephones, open days. < / p>
So, in Dzerzhinsk TTSSON marathon "From Heart to Heart" is intended to raise additional funds to assist people with disabilities and to strengthen the material base of department day care center for people with disabilities. In Luban TTSSON organized a charity marathon "good heart" to raise funds to support children with disabilities, parents with disabilities, raising minor children. In Starye Dorogi TTSSON aim of the action "We are with you" is the provision of humanitarian assistance to members of the Belarusian Society of the Disabled. And in the Volozhin district center of culture will take an inclusive festival "Special Universe" with the participation of disabled children and young people with disabilities.
For people with disabilities in TTSSON Minsk region there are 24 branches day stay that permanently visit 555 people. For the organization of employment of disabled persons in these offices operated 48 rehabilitation and employment workshops, run 189 clubs (clubs), whose activities are very diverse.
In order to accommodate his or her conditions of life and work , preparation for independent life outside of inpatient facilities-based center opened 5 branches followed by residence, in eight centers provided services assistant support disabled group I in violation of the musculoskeletal system and (or) on sight, in four centers provided services to assist the disabled I and Group II with intellectual disabilities. Parent families with children with disabilities, are available free of charge babysitting. For the release of free time parents with disabled children and young people with disabilities, based on the branches 14 and the center provides a social break.
The International Day of Disabled Persons was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly on October 14 1992 and is celebrated annually on December 3rd. In our country, it is declared by decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus Day of Persons with Disabilities.
