In Myadel area unattended heater caused the fire in the warehouse of grain: damaged 39 tons of grain and leguminous. BelTA learned from the press secretary of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus Vitaly Novitsky.
The message about a fire in the building stock of the agricultural enterprise in the village of Kosovo rescuers arrived on guard around midnight on December 3rd. As it turned out, in a brick building with a wooden roof was temporarily built utility room with a separate entrance from the street - this is where the fire started. The two compartments were kept almost 80 tons of grain. In one of them were triticale and legumes, in the second - 28 tons of barley.
A few hours later the fire was extinguished. The fire destroyed the roof of slate in the area of 370 square meters, injured 39 tons of grain and leguminous. Employees MOE saved from fire barley in the second compartment storage.
The presumed cause of the fire was the violation of the rules of operation of electric and electronic equipment - or rather, left unattended heater.
