Orthodox youth brotherhood of the parish temple of the Mother of God "deliverer" Borisov Diocese of the Belarusian Orthodox Church is organizing from December 13 to January 3 in Zhodino charity event "Christmas present", BelTA informs.
During the campaign will be raising money for nursing home care, as well as gifts for the children living in the orphanage, orphanage and needy families of the city. From December 13 to January 3, every Sunday from 12.00 to 20.00 volunteers will hand out leaflets and make donations to the nursing home in the shopping center "Rublevsky" (str. Rokossovskogo 9) and the shopping center "Iceberg" (str. Kalinowski, 13). On December 20 in the same places will be collected gifts for children.
According to the organizers shares nursing home mostly needed things such as adult diapers, liquid soap, disposable razors , toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags (30 and 120 liters), white (chlorine), dishwashing detergent. For kids - board games, stationery, children's literature, coloring books, puzzles, a variety of toys. Donations are also accepted at the temple any day of the week.
During the celebration of the Nativity of Christ apart from visiting social institutions organizers of the charity event will visit more than 100 families in Zhodino.
