National Sports Festival for young workers "Olympia - 2016" will be held August 26-28 in the Volozhin district under the motto "Youth chooses!", BelTA learned from the Second Secretary of the Central Committee of NGO "Belarusian Republican Youth Union" Sergey Klishevich.
For three days, the tent city on the banks of the picturesque River will Isloch Youth Capital for the enterprising young people. The festival will bring together Belarusian Republican Youth Union activists who have devoted their career working in government, enterprises and institutions. The participants will be 20 youth teams, including those from ministries of education, information, culture, architecture and construction, communication and information, for Emergency Situations, the State Control Committee, as well as the Belarusian Railways.
The program will be full of various events: team and individual competitions (FIFA competitions, volleyball, tug of war, darts, lifting weights, hiking technique); creative competitions (the presentation of the teams "It Belarus, my country", bivouacs and cooking "Together build a house," "Battle of DJ's"); interactive educational thematic area "My choice - Belarus", "Youth and Culture", "Youth chooses healthy lifestyle", "Tradition vs Innovation as a" master-classes, presentations, meetings with famous people.
Official opening of the Youth Forum will be held today at 18.00. The words of greetings and wishes of the sports and creative victories, team spirit and "elbow feeling" in the fight for the "Olympic" medals to the participants of the festival will be performed by the honored guests of the festival - representatives of the Presidential Administration, ministries and departments. There will be a parade of teams, the ceremony of launching the balloon, opening of "Olympic Games" and the lighting of the "Olympic torch", the presentation of interactive platforms. Everyone will be able to try yourself in the popular sports game "Rural bowling", participate in master classes on manufacturing textile dolls-amulets, straw flowers, and others.
One of the central events of the first day will be "open dialogue". It is planned that in the discussion on the topic "Youth and Politics": liability formula "About 400 people will take part in the competition will end the festival day of business cards."
