Regional competition of fashion designers, graphic designers, creative teams (seamstress, tailor, seamstress) "Fashion Silhouette" will be conducted in the Minsk region once every two years. Position about the competition published on the website of Minsk City Executive, BelTA informs.
The organizers of the professional contest of fashion designers are the State "consumer services of Minsk oblast population" and the Minsk regional organization of trade union of workers of the local industry and municipal enterprises. Among the main objectives of the competition - professional development and creativity of specialists in the field of modeling and fashion design, creating favorable conditions for the development of creativity, exchange of experience, improving the culture of the national costume, to popularize the Belarusian fashion.
The competition will be held at the House of Culture agrotown Forest (Minsk district).
The regional competition is held in four categories: "Pret-a-porter", "Fasion design", "Belarusian costume tradition in a modern way," "World Children's Fashion". Participants are required to submit to the competition a collection of clothes in their chosen category in an amount not less than five products. Moreover, the collection can be designed for women or for men.
Based on the results of the regional competition are determined by three prizes in each category, the Grand Prix for the best collection of clothes, regardless of the category, a People's Choice Award for the collection of clothes and whatever competitive nominations. The winners are awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts.
