BelTA has learned from 20 to 22 January in the Berezinsky area on the sports base GUO "Tourist Center" Youth "will be held the championship of Minsk Region Ski Orienteering,.
The competition will be held in individual and team event in accordance with the rules of orienteering approved Belarus Orienteering Federation (BFO). Participants will compete for two days in two disciplines: sprint and distance marked.
The winners in the team event are determined by the maximum amount of points scored by the ten best athletes in the first and second day of competition.
According to the BFO, Belarus Championship and Junior Championships Ski orienteering is also held in the Minsk region. They will take the township Pleshchenitsy (Logoisk District) in early February.
The championship and the national championship team will be participating areas, clubs and athletes performing in the individual competition. Competitions will take place the personal-team format. The first awards will be raffled off Feb. 4 in the classic distance in several bands, 5 February unfold struggle in the middle distance. The deadline for applications for participation in the championship - 30 January.
The organizers of the competition are the Belarus Orienteering Federation and the Minsk Regional Orienteering Federation. Chief Justice appointed Dmitry Vankevich.
