More than 200 students of the Minsk region took part in the Olympics cross-country skiing. Competitions were held today at the ski-roller track in the metropolitan district of Vesnyanka, BelTA has learned.
The tournament is a qualifier for the regional Games. Teams from 31 schools in the district determined the strongest in two age groups: younger (2003-2004 gr .; distance of 2 km) and senior (2001-2002 gr .; distance of 3 km).
The winner in the youngest age group of boys was Nikolai Lukashenko (Ostroshitsky-Gorodok NL), which showed the result - 6 min. 54.7 sec. In the older age group was not equal to Ivan Matsukevich of Kolodischanskoy NL - 7 minutes 50.6 seconds.
In the team competition the first place won Ostroshitsky-Gorodok School, second place was taken Ozertsovskaya school, and the third place - a secondary school of the village of New Field.
