In the Minsk region, more than 3 thousand objects are subject to involvement in economic circulation, said today the director of the regional territorial fund of state property "Minskkoblgosumuschestvo" Svetlana Degterenko at the meeting of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee, where issues of involvement in the turnover of unused and inefficiently used property owned by the region And its administrative-territorial units, the correspondent of BelTA reports.
Work on the involvement in the turnover of unused property has been conducted in the central region since 2007 by all districts. "Most of the property is involved in Slutsk and Pukhovichi districts, but there are still many unused facilities in the same areas, which is due to the optimization of the network of social institutions, objects from former military camps and non-core assets of state organizations are also transferred from the republic's property. According to her, these objects are owned by the state, joint-stock companies and other private property, as well as many consumer cooperative objects. In the Minsk region, the priority way to involve unused property into the hosorage is to redevelop it for housing, if possible. Svetlana Degterenko underlined that all methods of involving unused objects are used. So, the possibility of their use by current owners after re-profiling or repair is being considered; Sale through auction of objects to other state or non-governmental organizations; Lease of property. In addition, business entities in accordance with Decree No. 108 are given the opportunity to conclude agreements for the free use of immovable state property for the implementation of investment projects.
Regarding the redevelopment of unused buildings for housing in the Minsk region, over the period 2014-2016, the district executive committees transferred 92 real estate objects. Now 28 of them are used, including 16 for seasonal residence of the employed workers or for hostels. At 11 sites, work is underway to prepare documents for their transfer to housing. With regard to the four buildings, decisions were made about the inexpediency of conversion to housing. As a consequence, one object was demolished, and three were used for other purposes (for a dining room, a warehouse and a library). So far, work has not started on re-profiling at 49 sites.
The director of the Minskbrogosimuschestvo fund stated that in the central region, as in the whole country, there is a tendency to increase the number of unused facilities, but it is insignificant. Their increase is due to the fact that the inventory is being more carefully conducted, Svetlana Degterenko concluded.
In 2016, Minsk region was involved in economic circulation, demolished and mothballed 640 unused facilities, which is 5% less than in 2015. Responsibility for the organization of this work in the regions is vested in the deputy chairmen of the mountain and district executive committees responsible for economy, or questions of the agro-industrial complex.
