"In the Minsk region, as a result of optimizing the spheres of health care, education, culture and some others, more than 150 buildings have been vacated that can be used to provide social services in various spheres of service on terms of sale or leasing in accordance with the law," - Noted Vera Podorovskaya.
According to her, a private form of social services has already been developed in the central region. So, in the territory of the Volozhin district there is a private unitary enterprise "Family pier", in which paid social services, a permanent residence service are provided to citizens.

Vera Podorovskaya stressed that the issue of providing citizens with high-quality social services is still topical. Currently, 18 boarding houses and 7 round-the-clock branches for elderly citizens are operating on the territory of the Minsk region, with territorial centers of social services providing social services to over 3,500 older citizens and disabled people.
