In the system of vocational and technical education of the Minsk region in the forthcoming academic year new specialties will be opened in the educational institutions of Borisov and Kopyl, BelTA learned from the press secretary of the Education Department of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee Victoria Gomza. For example, for the first time, the Borisovskiy State Construction Professional Lyceum will open a set of qualifications for the "restorer of decorative and artistic painting," and Kopylsky State College is the "agent for the maintenance of road transport." P>
In connection with the emerging need of a number of organizations in the Molodechno State College, for the first time a reception will be conducted for the specialty "Sanitary and Technical Maintenance of Buildings and Structures (by Directions)" for correspondence courses based on vocational education. P>
After a long break in Slutsk State College, the training in the specialty of "cottage cheese manufacturer" will be resumed. It is also planned to resume training in the specialty "garden and park construction" in Minsk State Regional College. In general, according to the applications and agreements on cooperation in 11 educational institutions of the central region, training in 25 qualifications will be resumed. At the same time, in 13 educational institutions, admission to 43 qualifications will be temporarily suspended. P>
In the coming academic year, 3 085 people are planned to enter vocational education institutions of the Minsk region, including 3 040 for full-time education and 45 for part-time education. In total, there are 24 institutions in the region that implement educational programs for vocational and technical Secondary special education. P>
In 2017, 8,067 graduates of schools in the capital region will receive certificates of general secondary education, and 13,124 people will receive a certificate of basic education. P>
