In the open-air museum "Stalin's Line" August 5, the International Festival "Afghan Sky", dedicated to the Day of the Airborne Troops will take place. P>
A large-scale military historical reconstruction of the episode of hostilities during the Afghan war in the province of Ghazni will take place at the festival, with the participation of military historical clubs from Belarus, Russia, Lithuania and using military equipment of those years. P>
Also in the program of the holiday performances on hand-to-hand combat and parachuting. P>
There will be over a dozen interactive zones. It will be possible to evaluate your knowledge in a historical quiz, to try yourself in shooting from pneumatics, to show creativity while painting a tank, and to take part in master classes. A children's room will work for the young guests of the event. P>
Winners of competitions and competitions will be able to ride free of charge on combat equipment. The competition site of the STO "Stalin Lines" will open at 11.30. At 13.30 a performance on hand-to-hand fighting will begin, at 13.45 - a performance on parachuting. The reconstruction of the battle of the Afghan war "Bekoyev's feat" will begin at 14.00. The complex will finish work at 21.00. P>
The event will be held with the support of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Belarus and the charity fund for helping internationalist soldiers "The Memory of Afghanistan." P>
