A session of the Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Cooperation of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) took place in Minsk on the sidelines of the international exhibition of the security industry National Security. Belarus 2026, the CSTO press service told BelTA.
Participants of the session discussed matters related to the creation of an interstate system for cataloguing articles of supply for the armed forces of the CSTO member states; matters of ensuring mutual protection of intellectual property rights obtained and used in the course of military-economic cooperation in the CSTO format; and the formation of expositions of military, dual-use, and special-purpose products and technologies of the member states within the framework of international exhibitions to be held in 2027-2028,” the press service said.
“The commission made the necessary decisions on all items of the session’s agenda, including the approval of the commission’s work plan for 2027,” the press service added.
The meeting was chaired by the head of the Belarusian part of the commission, Deputy Chairman of the State Authority for Military Industry of Belarus Dmitry Stefanovich. The next session of the commission is scheduled to be held in the Russian Federation in September-October 2027.
