During an online meeting with colleagues from Kyrgyzstan, the Belarusian Central Election Commission presented the national system for training election organizers and key projects aimed at promoting legal awareness among young people, BelTA learnd from the CEC.
The Central Election Commissions of Belarus and Kyrgyzstan are developing bilateral cooperation and exchanging experience in training election organizers and legal education of citizens.
Yelena Baldovskaya, Secretary of the Belarusian CEC, explained that the key task for election organizers is high-quality legal education. In her view, this will help form a stable legal culture among young people, instill respect for the law and state institutions, and strengthen their civic and electoral responsibility.
Representatives of the Kyrgyzstan CEC emphasized the high effectiveness of Belarusian approaches to involving citizens in the electoral process.
This area of cooperation has been officially developed in accordance with the cooperation agreement signed between the agencies of the two countries.
