A ban on entering forests is in effect in 25 districts of Belarus, while restrictions have been imposed in the remaining areas, BelTA reports, citing data from the interactive map of the Forestry Ministry of Belarus.
In Vitebsk Oblast, forest access ban is imposed only in Senno District; in Brest Oblast – Kamenets District and Stolin District. In Minsk Oblast, visiting forests is prohibited in the districts of Berezino, Borisov, Slutsk, and Krupki; in Mogilev Oblast – in Slavgorod District, Cherikov District and Mstislavl District.
The largest number of districts with a ban on visiting forests is in Gomel Oblast. Many areas are marked in red on the ministry's map. Meanwhile, restrictions have been introduced in the districts of Khoiniki, Gomel, Vetka, Bragin, Dobrush, and Loyev.
