Biathlonists of the Minsk region won in the final form of the program of the republican competitions in biathlon "Snow Sniper" in the senior age group, BelTA has learned.
Representatives of the metropolitan area as part of Julia Kazak, Olga Porubova, Kirill Sergeev, Vladislav Sergeyev overcame the distance in 54 minutes. and, despite two misses, came to the finish line first. Biathlonists of the Minsk team took the second place, and the third place went to the Grodno region.
In the medal standings, the first place in the team of Minsk, on account of which there are 8 awards (4 gold and 4 silver). In the second place, young biathletes of the Mogilev region - 3 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals. The winners from the Minsk region - 1 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals - closed the top three in the medal standings of the tournament.
Republican competitions in biathlon "Snow Sniper" are held in Belarus since 2007 to popularize the sport and identify the most gifted children. The second time the competitions were held in the "Raubichi" sports complex. In total, more than 39 thousand children took part in the "Snow Sniper" this season.
