Office Investigative Committee of Belarus Minsk region completed a criminal investigation instituted on the fact of injury to a minor using a pneumatic gun , BelTA learned from the management of the Investigative Committee of the Minsk region .
The incident occurred in January 2013 in Krupki area. Underage 15 -year-old local man fired a pistol " IL - 53M Baikal" in the direction of 13 -year-old , as a result of which the latter lost his sight in his right eye .
The investigation established that the shooter knew that could injure a teenager. He has been charged with a final intentional infliction of serious bodily injury of hooliganism .
In respect of the accused applied as a preventive measure on his own recognizance .
Criminal case referred to prosecutors for directions to the court .
