Repair of the overpassed section of the overpass to the Moscow Ring Road in the Loshitsy district is planned to be completed by October 1, BelTA learned from Alexander Antsiperovich, the acting director of the Goravtomost enterprise.
"It is planned to replace all seven beams, including the burst, after which the movement along the inner ring will be restored," said Alexander Antsiperovich.
As it was reported, on August 1, at the intersection of the Igumen route with the ring road, the roadway collapsed (the sagging of the asphalt covering) in the third lane of the inner ring. At the moment, the movement along the overpass is organized along the outer ring. A broken metal support supports the broken beam to prevent collapse. The movement of public transport, the route of which passes through the interchange, is organized in a detour around Loschitsa.
An enlarged commission was already working at the scene, a survey was conducted, which previously showed that the failure was formed due to a defect in one of the floors. A meeting was held today in Minsk city executive committee, a plan of actions for the current moment and perspective was worked out.
Earlier, specialists of "BELDOR" conducted a survey of this section of the Moscow Ring Road and made a conclusion about the need for major repairs. From spring on the site, there is a restriction for the movement of heavy vehicles (15 tons of capacity restriction signs are installed).
The overpass was commissioned in 1985, the last time it was reconstructed 17 years ago.
