The contest "Silver Thread" will be held in Minsk region on the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. BelTA learned from the Committee on Labour, Employment and Social Protection of Minsk City Executive Committee.
Bidding will be conducted in several stages. From January 15 to March 15 in the field of active regions, senior citizens and young people congratulated veterans on the Day of Fatherland Defenders and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus and the Women's Day. Senior citizens and disabled people will visit in health care, help with household receive veterans and people with disabilities who need it for health reasons and are in a difficult situation. Volunteer groups will work.
At the second stage of the competition in March in Minsk, Soligorsk, Zhodino Uzda areas and the presentation of socially important good deeds elderly for the elderly, veterans, the disabled, children, as well as joint activities with young people, "the wise of heart - good deeds."
From March 16 to April 10 at the district libraries, from 13 April to 30 April in Minsk Regional Library named after AS Pushkin host exhibition of the elderly "How well the world without war."
The winners, who took the I, II, III places are awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts, individual participants - special prizes.
