Safari Park will be opened in the center of eco-tourism "Stankovo" (Dzerzhinsky district) in the autumn of 2015. BelTA learned from Deputy General Director of JSC "Agrokombinat" Dzerzhinsky "Sergey Ermak.
Inhabitants Safari Park will become the European fallow deer, sika and red deer, roe deer, mouflon and other animals. Now being the development of forest trails and areas for feeding, building towers, where you can watch the animals. Safari Park will occupy an area of about 450 hectares.
It is expected that the opening of the facility will significantly increase the number of visitors to the center of ecotourism. According to Sergey Ermak, 2014 "Stankovo" was attended by about 155 thousand. People, the majority of tourists come from the Belarusian capital and Russia.
The center of ecological tourism "Stankovo" began to build on the initiative of "Agrokombinat" Dzerzhinsky "and the Museum of the Great Patriotic War in June 2008. The first visitors center adopted in April 2011. Today, visitors can visit the center in dugouts guerrilla camp, make a desire in the 500-year-old oak tree, see the famous historic military complex "Minsk fortified" and the residence of Santa Claus. It is also the zoo, home to 50 species of birds and animals, including ostriches, peacocks, bison, llamas, yak, and bear. It features a sauna, restaurant, café, cinema 5D, shooting, attractions.
