Belarusian Energy Minister Viktor Karankevich congratulated parents of many children who work at the Belarusian Energy Ministry on the International Day of Families that is marked on 15 May, BelTA learned from the press service of the ministry.
Family is a person's closest and dearest people, the source of joy and happiness, strength and energy, Viktor Karankevich noted. It gives the foundation for every person's life. “Family is also about daily troubles, especially for you, because you have many children and, hence, greater responsibility. However, thanks to your efforts, we have examples of close-knit families. This is our future, our pride,” the minister added.
Belarus creates all conditions to increase the number of large families and introduces comprehensive measures to support such families, the Energy Ministry pointed out. Appropriate decisions are taken at the level of the head of state.
“The 6th Belarusian People's Congress identified a happy family as one of the priorities of this five-year period, which means that promoting traditional family values, raising and educating children and the youth, unlocking their creative potential will take center stage,” Viktor Karankevich said.
