11 октября 2023 года Воложинская районная организация ветеранов провела мероприятие по результатам проведенных в 2023 году конкурсов в  том числе: «Ветеранское подворье -2023году», « Лучшая первичка», «Волонтер года».

Мероприятие прошло в конференц-зале туристического информационного и рекреационного центра, что по улице Набережно,6 в г. Воложин. Сюда пригласили председателей, а также самых активных членов первичных ветеранских организаций, победителей конкурсов.

Среди уважаемых гостей была директор Воложинского территориального центра социального обслуживания населения Галина Рай, а также председатель районного объединения профсоюзов Снежана Нахай, которая выступила в качестве спонсора для приобретения поощрительных подарков, заместитель главного редактора газеты «Працоуная слава» Залесская Елена, председатель БРСМ Нахай Дарья.

An international seminar on topical matters concerning the protection and commercialization of intellectual property assets in Belarus and abroad took place in Minsk, the press service of the National Center of Intellectual Property (NCIP) told BelTA.

The seminar was organized by the State Committee on Science and Technology and the NCIP. It gathered representatives of law enforcement and antimonopoly bodies, industry-specific ministries and concerns, various organizations and institutions as well as Belarusian exporters – a total of over 170 participants.

NCIP Director General Vladimir Ryabovolov pointed out that the seminar will be further expanded in accordance with the Council of Ministers' instruction to evaluate a number of problems that Belarusian manufacturers run into in the course of foreign trade operations. “Our event has acquired a practical dimension. We intend to cover the practical matters that Belarusian producers of goods and services encounter in the course of promoting their goods, primarily in the Eurasian space,” the official said.

Leading experts of the National Center of Intellectual Property, the Eurasian Patent Office, Belarus' Supreme Court, the Internal Affairs Ministry, patent administrators of Belarus and Russia informed participants of the seminar about peculiarities of national and international procedures meant to grant legal protection to intellectual property objects. They shared their practical experience and up-to-date solutions for ensuring the protection of rights to intellectual property assets both in Belarus and abroad. Participants of the seminar were particularly interested in parallel import because increasing the internal stability of the national economy and preventing shortages on the domestic market are becoming important matters nowadays.

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic on a working visit on 12 October for a meeting of the CIS Heads of State Council in Bishkek on 13 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The event will traditionally be held in narrow and expanded formats. The head of state will present Belarus' position and proposals on the most pressing issues of cooperation in the CIS.

It is expected that the leaders of the CIS countries will adopt a number of joint statements.

The institution of observer and partner status of the CIS is aimed at expanding the potential of the CIS and increasing its role in the international arena.

The leaders are set to introduce a number of amendments to the CIS legal acts and to discuss topical issues across a wide range of topics.

On the sidelines of the summit, the heads of state will discuss issues of bilateral cooperation.

On the eve of the summit, Bishkek hosted a meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministers Council.

The Council approved four draft joint statements of the CIS Heads of State Council. Among them is the draft statement on the principles of interstate relations in a multipolar world. The document highlights the importance of forging a sustainable multipolar world order, declares its pledge to make a meaningful contribution to building an international security architecture in order to address international and regional development challenges, emphasizes plans to transform the Commonwealth into a region of peace, sustainable development and shared prosperity, reaffirms the openness of the CIS to a broader international cooperation.

According to the press service of the CIS Executive Committee, the summit on 13 October will sign the agreement on the establishment of the international organization for the Russian language in the CIS, the agreement on the establishment of the international center for assessing the risks of legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime and the financing of terrorism and the agreement on the formation of the CIS coordinating council for forensic activities.

The leaders are set to sign the interstate program of joint measures to combat crime for 2024-2028 and institute a CIS medal "For Contribution to Peace".

It is also expected that the CIS heads of state will declare Samarkand (Republic of Uzbekistan) the CIS Capital of Culture 2024.

Belarus proposes to set up a public council on environmental radiation monitoring of nuclear energy facilities, Tatiana Bosenko, head of the department of personnel, ideological, organizational and analytical support and quality management at Gosatomnadzor, said at a press conference in BelTA's press center.

"On 8 September, public hearings were held in Belarus before a license for the operation of the second power unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant was issued. They were organized by Gosatomnadzor. Anyone could take part in the public hearings. On its website Gosatomnadzor posted the information on the procedure for registration of participants, on how to ask questions and make a presentation. We also posted the thematic information materials for preliminary consideration. All in all, more than 200 people took part in the public hearings," Tatiana Bosenko said.

The format of the hearings suggested the involvement of members of the public. Thus, after the keynote reports, there were 18 remarks from the floor. People voiced their positions on the issues under discussion.

"The hearings touched on the functioning of the radiation monitoring system (with Belhydromet providing the information on this), the functioning of the state system of radiation and public health monitoring, further support of the project by scientific institutions of Belarus and engineering organizations of the Russian Federation. Other issues included the prospects for the development of the region, scientific research, the development of the personnel training system and much more. Gosatomnadzor carefully analyzed the questions and comments received during the public hearings and formulated the proposals in terms of their further implementation. Some of the proposals relate to the functions of our department, the other to other state bodies," Tatiana Bosenko said.

According to her, taking into account the positive practice of public involvement in important environmental decision-making, the National Academy of Sciences and scientific organizations suggest setting up a public council on environmental radiation control of nuclear facilities.

“There are also plans to strengthen interaction with Russia in developing joint action programs within the Union State on nuclear radiation safety in order to continue cooperation after the commissioning of the Belarusian nuclear power plant (BelNPP), and also to address issues of import substitution,” Tatiana Bosenko said.

In her words, representatives of the public of Gomel Oblast came up with an initiative to introduce a professional holiday in Belarus - Nuclear Radiation Safety Workers' Day. Nuclear radiation safety in the country is ensured by a wide range of specialists from different sectors, including healthcare, manufacturing sector, science, radiation monitoring, equipment manufacturing and others.

“Representatives of Gomel Oblast highlighted that the country has the expertise in mitigating the consequences of the Chernobyl accident and that it can be used to monitor nuclear radiation safety during the construction of new nuclear power facilities. They also suggested setting up an international R&D center in the Polesie Radiation and Ecological Reserve and using the potential of the reserve in developing a system of training personnel in Belarus and abroad,” she added.

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated the people of Spain on their national holiday – the National Day of Spain, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Despite the different historical paths that our countries took, both nations have many things in common, including respect for Christian values, family, hard work, patriotism and sympathy for those who suffer,” the message of congratulations reads.

The head of state expressed confidence that even in today's difficult conditions, the Spaniards and Belarusians will be able to maintain friendly contacts and remain partners who respect each other and are interested in expanding constructive, mutually beneficial cooperation for a better future for their descendants.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the people of Spain peace, prosperity and further progress.

Президент Беларуси Александр Лукашенко поздравил народ Испании с национальным праздником - Днем испанской нации. Об этом БЕЛТА сообщили в пресс-службе белорусского лидера.

"Несмотря на разные пути исторического развития наших стран, оба народа объединяет много черт, в том числе почитание христианских ценностей, культ семьи, стремление к созидательному труду, патриотизм и небезразличие к чужой беде", - говорится в поздравлении.

Глава государства выразил уверенность в том, что даже в сегодняшних непростых условиях испанцы и белорусы сумеют сохранить дружественные связи и остаться партнерами, которые уважительно относятся друг к другу и заинтересованы в расширении конструктивного, взаимовыгодного сотрудничества для лучшего будущего потомков.

Председатель районного совета ветеранов Татьяна Тиганина рассказала о деятельности районной ветеранской организации. И провела церемонию награждения.

В связи с юбилейной датой ветерану журналистики, бывшему редактору районной газеты «Працоўная слава” Софье Игнатьевне Ковязо была вручена Почётная грамота райисполкома.

Смотр-конкурс «Ветеранское подворье» проходил по нескольким номинациям. Присутствующие смогли ознакомиться с презентациями.

В итоге 1-е общее место в смотре-конкурсе «Ветеранское подворье» было присуждено семье Ревяко Ренюся Михайловича и Евгении Вацлавовны с деревни Большие Кривичи Раковского сельсовета.

В номинации «Цветник у подъезда» победила Вера Владимировна Белявская, которая проживает в доме № 22 по улице Партизанской в Воложине.

Волонтером года-2023 была названа Зоя Тимофеевна Войткевич.

Удостоверение «Почётный ветеран» получили председатель Раковской первичной ветеранской организации Владимир Филипович Вашкевич и ветеран труда, бывший председатель колхоза «Большевич» Станислав Антонович Лужинский.

В этот году ряды районной ветеранской организации пополнились новыми первичками. Председателям первичных ветеранских организаций были вручены свидетельства о регистрации.

С наступающим праздником женский актив поздравила председатель Ивенецкой первичной ветеранской организации Александра Петровна Недвецкая.
