1 февраля 2021 года стартует конкурс работ творческой молодежи «Золотое перо «Белой Руси» - 2021».

Организаторами конкурса выступают РОО «Белая Русь» совместно с Белорусским союзом журналистов при поддержке Министерства образования и Министерства информации Республики Беларусь, а также редакций республиканских СМИ.

В Год народного единства участникам предложено творчески осветить и развить следующую тему: «Ценности, которые нас объединяют».

Под этим понятием организаторы подразумевают семейные, государственные, общечеловеческие, культурные, профессиональные и иные ценности, которые способствуют единению нации, общества, отдельных граждан.

Творческие работы должны быть представлены в жанре эссе.

Приглашаем учащихся школ, молодых людей, получающих средне-специальное/профессиональное образование, студентов ВУЗов, работающую молодежь нашего района принять участие в конкурсе.

High-speed 4G Internet is available to 89.4% of Belarus' population, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Communications and Informatization Ministry.

“The coverage of the LTE mobile communication network in Belarus has expanded significantly in the past six months. As of late 2020, it reached 89.4% of the Belarusian population and 30.6% of the country's territory,” the ministry noted.

Second-generation mobile phone technology (2G) reaches 98.7% of the territory of Belarus, and the 3G coverage is 98.4%.

As of 1 January 2021, there were 189 communications service providers in Belarus.

The number of fixed-line broadband subscribers totals 3.256 million and IPTV has 2.36 million subscribers. More than 3.62 million subscribers are connected to the IMS-platform. The number of subscribers connected using the GPON technology is 2.74 million.

The bandwidth of the external Internet access channel went up by 50Gbps over the past six months to 1,800Gbps.

In 2020, the number of mobile communication subscribers amounted to 11.66 million.

The Belarusian People's Congress should be held at an exceptionally high level, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the meeting to discuss the preparation and conduct of the Belarusian People's Congress, BelTA has learned.

The head of state emphasized that very little time is left before the congress. “The interest in the forum is huge, which implies a great responsibility. This is a milestone event for the country, and we must hold it at the highest level,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.

Taking part in the meeting were Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko, Chair of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly Natalya Kochanova and Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Vladimir Andreichenko, Head of the Belarus President Administration Igor Sergeyenko, State Secretary of the Security Council Aleksandr Volfovich, Head of the Belarus President Property Management Directorate Viktor Sheiman, Minsk Mayor Vladimir Kukharev and Director of the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research Oleg Makarov.

“Firstly, we need to make sure that everything is ready for the arrival of the delegates. People from all the regions representing the entire spectrum of civil society, public associations, political parties, labor collectives, and individual regions will flock to the capital city. There will also be invited guests. Delegates from the regions should feel at home in the capital of our motherland. It is necessary to ensure their safety, comfortable conditions for working and having a rest. The appropriate services should take care of these matters,” the head of state said.

Secondly, it is necessary to make the most of this forum to address the most pressing issues of today. “People from all walks of life and age groups will gather here. They represent thousands, millions of Belarusian people, labor collectives. These delegates were chosen by people. We should give everyone a voice and hear the whole spectrum of opinions on various issues,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.

“I would like to use this occasion to reiterate that some people, first of all, fugitives and other so-called opposition members are lamenting that if they do not take part in the Belarusian People's Congress, this congress will be illegitimate. I said that we elected people who live in our country, so let these fugitives be elected in Poland, Lithuania. Some are obviously in Ukraine, some might be in Russia, though not so many. We do not have the experience of nominating people living abroad. We only invite guests from abroad,” he said.

“Secondly, they declared a boycott to the Belarusian People's Congress. If you boycott it, why are you shedding tears? Once you declared a boycott, stick to it. More than that, a short while after announcing the boycott, they decided to arrange a forum of Belarusian diaspora. Go ahead and do it. No one is going to be on your way. Get together in Poland and Lithuania and hold it,” the president added.

Thirdly, the president believes that it is necessary to discuss the most burning issues in more detail in the run-up to the congress. He recalled that earlier the social and economic development program and a number of other issues put forward at dialogue platforms had been discussed in the regions. The head of state spoke highly of the efforts of his aides in the regions and especially the governors to arrange dialogue platforms at the local level. “Delegates of the Belarusian People's Congress gathered together and discussed these issues. It is clear that not all of the 2,500 people and invitees [of the Belarusian People's Congress] will be able to speak there. Therefore, it was right to discuss these matters on the ground, to accumulate and submit proposals to the Belarusian People's Congress on behalf of a particular region,” Aleksandr Lukashenko is convinced.

“It helps us to keep our finger on the pulse, to delve deeper into the issues facing the regions and thus make sure that our decisions will be well-grounded and balanced,” he said.

The head of state emphasized that the Belarusian People's Congress is usually followed by a resolution with the main takeaways of the forum. A number of matters will be fleshed out and specified in the social and economic development program. “The resolution will chart the pathway towards Belarus' journey to certain goals. The conceptual provisions should address specific issues that concern people,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

The president illustrated his statement with a specific example: if final documents of the Belarusian People's Congress formalize the decision to preserve state-owned enterprises and to drop plans of massive privatization, people will see that they will not have to worry about their own future and the future of their children. “The sale of state property and state-run enterprises is a conceptual issue. However, this concept will help people see that state-owned companies will not go private, which is a guarantee that people will retain their jobs. The congress might as well take an opposite decision, i.e. that state property should be sold. What to do in this case? People should realize that the Belarusian People's Congress will make it clear what its fundamental decisions will lead to today, tomorrow, a day after tomorrow. This is the main thing we need to think about when making certain decisions,” the head of state said.

Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that people in Belarus are interested in all kinds of issues. “The economy is a cornerstone matter. Other pressing issues include prices, utility fees, jobs, wages and so on,” the head of state said. “There are many proposals related to social and political development. Our citizens are not indifferent to the future of the country. They are fully aware of the fact that we are going through a crucial period, when we all need to stick together and stand united to preserve the independent Belarusian state,” the president stressed.

Peacekeeping is one of the ways to implement peace initiatives. Belarus is involved in this process and has sent officers to two missions – the peacekeeping mission in Lebanon (under the auspices of the United Nations) and the monitoring mission in Ukraine (the OSCE), BelTA learned from the Defense Ministry.

“We are constantly searching for new areas, giving priority to humanitarian missions. These include humanitarian escorts, medical assistance, humanitarian demining of the area and facilities, patrolling and security of checkpoints and transport communications, deploymnet of staff officers. In August 2020, we expanded our participation in the UN Interim Force in Lebanon. In addition, we sent two staff officers to the Italian Contingent. The possibility of further expansion of the mission in Lebanon is currently being considered,” the ministry said.

Belarus' participation in missions in other states is currently in the works, at the level of consultations. The ministry is studying a possibility of taking part in other contingents, ways to perform tasks, security issues and others.

In accordance with the Belarusian laws, Belarus can send only contract servicemen and exclusively on a voluntary basis to participate in peace and security maintenance missions. Moreover, military personnel cannot be sent outside Belarus if no international agreements have been concluded between states, the Defense Ministry noted.

Дзеці з задавальненнем гулялі ў сняжкі, ляпілі снегавіка, гулялі ў беларускія народныя гульні «Мароз», «Хто хутчэй збярэцца», «Замарожаныя». Мерапрыемства выклікала ў дзяцей яскравыя эмоцыі і добры настрой.

Для именинниц был организован квест на поиск подарка, где все пришедшие на мероприятие приняли активное участие. В ходе программы дети играли в различные игры и участвовали в конкурсах. По завершению программы был организован сладкий стол.

Міністр эканомікі Аляксандр Чарвякоў адзначыў, што перад народным веча яшчэ шмат працы: «Нам неабходна разам прааналізаваць усе прапановы на дыялогавых пляцоўках, у рэгіёнах». Міністр адзначыў, што над стварэннем праекта Праграмы развіцця працавалі на працягу двух гадоў: «Разам з экспертамі, навукоўцамі, органамі дзяржкіравання, бізнес-асацыяцыямі. І той дакумент, які сёння прадстаўлены, створаны кансалідаванай групай, гэта не дакумент чыноўнікаў. Мы ўлічылі дасягненні і праблемы, якія не былі вырашаны. Па гэтым дакуменце мы будзем жыць і развіваць нашу краіну на працягу бліжэйшых пяці гадоў».

Гаварылі аб павелічэнні вытворчасці і экспарту ўласнай прадукцыі, даступнасці жылля, узроўні даходаў сельскага насельніцтва. Беларусь у новай пяцігодцы, паводле слоў міністра, захавае сацыяльную накіраванасць эканомікі і яе галоўную мэту – рост дабрабыту людзей.

Што датычыцца Мінскай вобласці, адзін з прыярытэтаў – рэгіёны. Па яго словах, працягнецца рэалізацыя важнейшых інвестыцыйных праектаў. Самым маштабным праектам вобласці з’яўляецца будаўніцтва Кітайска-Беларускага індустрыяльнага парка «Вялікі камень». З мінулага года тут пачаты другі этап асваення на плошчы 860 га. Прадугледжана стварэнне інфраструктуры да ўнікальнага ў Беларусі лагістычнага тэрмінала, які стане буйнейшым рэгіянальным цэнтрам і пляцоўкай, што злучае Еўропу і Азію.

Немалаважную ролю ў жыцці вобласці адыгрываюць малыя і сярэднія прадпрыемствы, якія фарміруюць фактычна 40% нашага бюджэту. Ёсць мноства прыкладаў, якія паспяхова працуюць.

Шмат праектаў і ў сацыяльнай сферы. Гэта і будаўніцтва бальніц, паліклінік. У кожным раённым цэнтры будуць створаны ўсе ўмовы для атрымання поўнага комплексу медыцынскіх паслуг на сучасным абсталяванні. «У мінулым годзе ўжо пабудаваны 10 садкоў, у наступную пяцігодку плануем пабудаваць каля 30 аб’ектаў дашкольных і школьных устаноў, і больш чым у 80 правесці рэканструкцыю», – удакладніў першы намеснік.

Ключавымі напрамкамі стануць развіццё гарадоў-спадарожнікаў Мінска, развіццё свабоднай эканамічнай зоны «Мінск», частка якой размяшчаецца на тэрыторыях Мінскага, Смалявіцкага, Маладзечанскага, Дзяржынскага, Барысаўскага, Стаўбцоўскага раёнаў і горада Жодзіна. Рэалізацыя канцэпцыі прамысловага пояса Мінскай вобласці, якая вызначае размяшчэнне індустрыяльных паркаў на тэрыторыях Барысаўскага, Валожынскага, Маладзечанскага, Пухавіцкага, Стаўбцоўскага, Уздзенскага, Чэрвеньскага раёнаў і горада Жодзіна для стварэння высокатэхналагічных прамысловых вытворчасцей і перамяшчэння прамысловых прадпрыемстваў з Мінска. Член Савета Рэспублікі Нацыянальнага сходу Рэспублікі Беларусь, старшыня Барысаўскага раённага аб’яднання арганізацый прафсаюзаў Алена Зяблікава адзначыла, што ў аснову праграмы развіцця краіны пакладзены інтарэсы простага чалавека:

– Гэта пытанні, якія тычацца адукацыі, аховы здароўя, развіцця інтэлектуальных магчымасцей. Гаворка ідзе і пра тое, як далей развіваць палітычную сістэму, як захаваць адзінства ў грамадстве, нашы каштоўнасці і традыцыі. Для нас мінулы год быў няпростым. Негатыўны ўплыў на нашу эканоміку аказалі знешнія фактары: эпідэміялагічная сітуацыя, сацыяльна-палітычныя падзеі. Свет змяняецца, і разам з ім змяняецца і наша краіна. Беларусь павінна быць гатовая і далей адказваць на новыя выклікі, захоўваць канкурэнтаздольнасць.

Парламентарый лічыць, што патрэбны рэформы, але яны павінны з’яўляцца вынікам пошуку разумных кампрамісаў.

Задачы амбіцыйныя, прыбытак ад вытворчасці, інвестыцый, экспарту. Але эканоміка не дзеля лічбаў, за імі дабрабыт людзей і рост даходаў. Да Усебеларускага сходу застаецца менш як два тыдні, гэта час актыўнага абмеркавання пытанняў і прапаноў, якія вызначаць развіццё.

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has approved the resolution on the protection of the state border by the border services in 2021, BelTA has learned.

According to the State Border Committee, the situation on the Belarusian border in 2020 remained stable and controlled, with no threats to border security identified. Restrictions in force since the beginning of the year due to the coronavirus pandemic, and increased border protection have led to a decrease in illegal activities.

“At the same time, the risks and challenges to the Belarusian border security associated with illegal migration, smuggling and attempts of radical individuals to cross the border remained. Belarus continued to be used for the transit of illegal migrants from disadvantaged regions to the EU countries,” the committee said.

Chairman of the State Border Committee Anatoly Lappo told the media that the engineering equipment of the state border would continue in 2021, including the work to mark the Belarusian-Ukrainian section within Lelchitsy District, Gomel Oblast. In particular, the matter pertains to a new outpost to be put into operation near the agrotown of Glushkovichi.

Speaking about 2020, Anatoly Lappo said that it was a difficult year, due to the pandemic and internal political events in Belarus. “We also experienced pressure from the outside, of course. I will not reveal a secret if I say that we did not let several thousand people into Belarus, who traveled to the country in the second half of the year with various bad intentions. There was also an attempt to destabilize the situation in the Baltic area. We did not let this happen,” said the head of the State Border Committee.

According to him, the work in this direction will continue this year, the border authorities will be ready to meet the challenges and protect the borders. “The border is a living organism. Today it is calm, tomorrow it may hot,” said Anatoly Lappo.

Belarus has to respond to the challenges and threats, said the president when receiving the report by the head of the State Border Committee. “Our responsibility here is not only for Belarus, but also for the Russians. I have to say that the level of protection of our border zone by our border services is superior to any border in the world. We understand that the border is a mirror, a face of any state. I could argue with anyone that there is no other state in the world with such protection of the state border as Belarus has. It is necessary to maintain the protection of the state border at this level.”

The border service uncovered and suppressed 12 channels of drug trafficking and identified 45 persons with signs of involvement in extremist activities. However, the total number of violators of the legislation on the state border has decreased by more than a half - from 4,000 in 2019 to 1,800 in 2020.

Among the main tasks for 2021, the State Border Committee named the improvement of engineering and technical equipment of the borders, and the proximity of unit deployment. Construction of signaling complexes and installation of automated technical observation posts for reliable control of protected areas will continue.

For example, the monitoring center set up at the Khoiniki border checkpoint allows remote control over 100 kilometers of the border with Ukraine with the help of various security and surveillance systems. This year its capabilities will increase several times.

This opinion was expressed today by the first deputy chairman of Minsk Oblast Executive Committee Sergei Levkovich at the regional meeting of delegates of the VI All-Belarusian People's Assembly from Minsk region, which took place in Borisov, BelTA has learned.

"Over the past five years, the Minsk region has made significant progress in development. The results are encouraging. The volume of the gross regional product has increased by more than 11% over five years. This indicator is the highest among all regions of the country. The growth rate of industrial production was 122%, agriculture - 118%, retail turnover - 129%, export of goods - 130%," said Sergey Levkovich." All the results that have been achieved over the past years will become a solid foundation for planning and solving new, no less ambitious tasks during the next five years. there are all the resources - material and technical, labor, financial, intellectual, so that together, by common labor, increase the well-being of the inhabitants of the region and the entire Belarusian people."

Behind all the indicators, built houses and efficient enterprises is the work of many people, including ordinary workers, specialists, managers. "It is they who ensure the economic and food security of the country, contribute to its progressive development. Among them are the delegates, with whom we have to give an objective assessment of what has been done over the past period, to determine the priorities and main directions of development for the next 5 years," said Sergei Levkovich.
