Belarus and Turkiye have done a lot to deepen their relations, but there are still unresolved issues, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with Ambassador of Turkiye Mustafa Ozcan on 11 September, BelTA has learned.

“Recently, we have done a lot in terms of deepening relations between Belarus and Turkiye. However, there are still a number of unresolved issues in terms of our agreement with [Turkish President] Recep Tayyip Erdogan. I think these issues are solvable. We have similar positions on many issues of international relations, including the crisis situation in Ukraine. We have spoken about it many times. Both Turkiye and Belarus take the position of diplomatic resolution of this conflict,” the head of state said.

As for trade and economic relations, Aleksandr Lukashenko recalled that the states once agreed to reach $1.5 billion in trade. “I think we have more than $1 billion in mutual trade for the second year already. We need to reach this level. Moreover, we have such opportunities,” the Belarusian leader said.

He also praised the Turkish president in shaping an independent policy of the country: "We are eagerly following your sovereign independent politics. You solve issues the way the Turkish people need. In this matter your president has surpassed, one could say, all expectations of the Turkish people,” the Belarusian president emphasized.

"We stand ready to do everything to contribute to the development of your country. We are not philanthropists. We are looking to benefit from this too. We need to remove the unresolved issues that we still have. We very much hope that Turkiye will lend us a helping hand in this difficult situation. I would like to discuss a number of issues that we will have to solve together with you in the near future," Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

In turn, Mustafa Ozcan thanked the head of state for the opportunity to meet to discuss issues on both the bilateral and international agendas. He also conveyed warm greetings from the president of Turkiye and words of sincere gratitude to the Belarusian side for the assistance rendered after the earthquake in Turkiye in February 2023. “We were amazed by the solidarity of the Belarusian people, and we will never forget the help provided by the Belarusian people,” the head of the diplomatic mission emphasized.

Шумно и многолюдно прошли выходные на Кургане Славы.

Во-первых, от его подножия тысячи байкеров-участников фестиваля H.O.G. Rally Minsk стартовали к Дворцу спорта в Минске на открытие Олимпийского дня, — это было зрелищно и масштабно. А еще здесь были организованы выставки со множеством различных тематических локаций районов Минской области, среди которых были участники и нашего региона.

Все посетители могли познакомится с локациями Воложинского района заглянуть в белорусскую хатку и угоститься блюдами традиционной кухни, купить мед, поделки из дерева, расписать пряники и сделать себе на память сувенир, узнать о пользе льняного масла и изучить воложинские экскурсионные маршруты, познакомиться с коллекцией белорусских костюмов.

В Воложинском районе прошел веломарафон « Дорогами Единства». Организатором стала Воложинская районная организация ОО «Белорусский союз женщин».

В мероприятии приняли участие активистки первичных организаций района: управления по труду занятости и социальной защите, ГУ «Воложинский ТЦСОН», Управления по образованию спорта и туризма, представители прокуратуры, следственного комитета, районного исполнительного комитета.

Маршрут пролегал по живописным дорогам Налибокской пущи. С историей урочища “Вялое” участниц велопробега познакомила Ирина Ковязо.

По пути возложили цветы к мемориальному знаку в поселке Первомайский.

“Такие мероприятия способствуют единению общества и служат примером для молодого поколения”, — отметила Галина Рай, председатель районной организации “БСЖ”.

Belarus is taking part in the international tourism forum “A new stage of cooperation between the CIS member states in the field of tourism” that is taking place in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on 7-8 September, BelTA learned from the National Tourism Agency.

The forum has brought together tourism industry professionals from the CIS countries: heads of tourism administrations, entrepreneurs and experts in the tourism industry.

Belarus is represented by the Tourism Department of the Sports and Tourism Ministry. The Belarusian delegation is taking part in the session “Digitalization of tourism services in the CIS space”. Belarus' representatives will make a presentation themed “On the digital transformation of the tourism sector in the Republic of Belarus”.

The forum is aimed at building international partnerships in the field of tourism in the CIS space. This event will be a great opportunity for domestic and foreign travel agencies to compare notes and thrash out plans. The participating countries will exchange expertise and knowledge in various areas of tourism.

The international tourism forum is held by the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan together with the CIS Executive Committee in the run-up to World Tourism Day that is marked on 27 September.

Российская команда посетила Воложинский район

«Мне всегда нравилась Беларусь», – именно с этих слов хочется начать статью. Принадлежат они тренеру-преподавателю спортивной школы олимпийского резерва в г. Химки (Россия) Евгению Голубаеву, который привез команду юных баскетболистов на сборы в физкультурно-оздоровительный комплекс г. Воложина. Мы не упустили возможность встретиться с ним и узнать, чем привлекательна наша страна для маленьких спортсменов.

Место для сборов Евгений Валерьевич выбрал не случайно. Посещая соревнования и турниры в Беларуси с 2010 года, он познакомился с тренером по баскетболу из Воложина Леонидом Хведченей. Их дружбе уже 10 лет. Он и предложил приехать на сборы с детской баскетбольной командой. Тем более что условия очень подходящие для тренировок.

Однажды вместе с командой побывали у вас на турнире и решили вернуться сюда еще не раз. Ведь редко встретишь такой теплый прием детской команды.

– Шикарный зал физкультурно-оздоровительного комплекса, комфортные условия для проживания в хостеле, вкусная и питательная еда. Мы бывали во многих местах, но так, как принимают детей в Беларуси, встретишь редко. Для ребят здесь есть все необходимое.

В сборах участвовали 23 человека. Поселили ребят в хостеле по улице Набережной. Дважды в день проходили тренировки по баскетболу в физкультурно-оздоровительном комплексе. Завтраками, обедами и ужинами кормили в кафе «ХХІ век». Кроме ежедневных занятий проходили соревнования, в которых спортсмены завоевали призы. За время пребывания пришлось обратиться за врачебной помощью в центральную районную больницу. Как рассказал нам тренер:

– Я благодарен вашим врачам. Когда заболел ребенок, помощь ему в педиатрическом отделении оказали незамедлительно и поставили на ноги нашего спортсмена за один день.

В Беларусь Евгений Валерьевич пообещал вернуться не раз:

– Ждем приглашения на турнир в Минске и привезем с собой еще команду родителей-болельщиков.

В Воложинском районном отделе внутренних дел прошла встреча с благочинным Воложинского районного округа протоиереем, настоятелем храма святых Константина и Елены Дмитрием Огиевичем.

Священнослужитель рассказал о важности веры и Церкви в жизни человека, о семейных ценностях.

— Моральные и нравственные ценности играют важную роль в жизни каждого человека, поскольку они помогают удержаться от неправильных действий и поступков. Ведь чем больше люди отдаляются от Божественных заповедей, тем сильнее приходят в упадок традиционные ценности и нравственность всего общества, — подчеркнул отец Дмитрий.

Правоохранительные органы ежедневно сталкиваются с проявлениями агрессии, насилия и другими антисоциальными действиями, в особенности нуждаются в духовной поддержке со стороны Церкви.

Не осталась без внимания во время встречи и такая важная тема, как семейные ценности. В современных реалиях, когда многие традиционные ценности подвергаются сомнению, важно помнить, что семья выступает в качестве основного элемента структуры общества. Ведь семья – это не только основа для воспитания детей в духе нравственности и добродетели, но и опора для каждого ее члена в трудные времена и фундамент для создания здорового общества.

A number of international documents were signed following the talks between Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Equatorial Guinea President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo in Minsk on 7 September, BelTA has learned.

The documents included an intergovernmental framework agreement on economic, trade, cultural, scientific and technical cooperation, an agreement on visa-free travel for holders of diplomatic and service passports. The parties also signed agreements on cooperation in healthcare and education, a memorandum of understanding between the specialized agencies of the two countries on cooperation in agriculture.

An agreement was also signed between the Culture Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Craft Promotion of Equatorial Guinea.

“Today we have laid the groundwork for the future,” the Belarusian head of state assessed the meeting. “We have identified promising areas and directions of partnership development. We have agreed on practical steps to implement the agreements reached, agreed on exchange visits, outlined the legal framework, and set up a joint commission on economic cooperation.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko asked the participants of the signing ceremony not to delay the implementation of the agreements reached.

На самой высокой точке Беларуси — горе Дзержинская в Минской области сегодня был дан старт республиканскому проекту «Символ единства — 2023», организованному общественным объединением «Патриоты Беларуси» и приуроченному ко Дню народного единства, который будет отмечаться в стране 17 сентября.

Главной целью проекта является объединение всех регионов страны, имеющих свои достижения и своих героев настоящего времени, с тем, чтобы затем открыть в столице аллею флагов. В ней можно будет отыскать флаги любого района, области и города Минска, а также получить информацию об интересующем регионе, отсканировав QR-код. Символично, что передавали их для будущей аллеи из каждого региона Беларуси его самые лучшие представители — руководители успешных предприятий, педагоги, деятели культуры, труженики хозяйств и самые талантливые учащиеся.

Флаг Воложина передал наш земляк, белорусский писатель Виктор Шнип:

— Сёння сапраўднае свята, бо сабраліся прадстаўнікі ўсіх раёнаў. Усе маладыя, паважаныя, адным словам — сапраўднае адзінства! Мы беларусы і гэта зямля наша. Тут нарадзіліся нашы дзяды і прадзеды, мы, нашы дзеці. Добра, што такія мерапрыемствы праводзяцца, гэта гаворыць аб тым, што мы аднадумцы, што мы жывыя, працуем, змагаемся і верым у нашу будучыню.

Масштабная акция продолжается. В рамках проекта по Беларуси пройдет и патриотический автопробег. С 7 по 16 сентября участники посетят все области страны, тем самым подчеркивая важность единства общества во имя мира и созидания.

Women's business is a driver of interstate processes that bring many benefits for people, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova said at the plenary session “Women entrepreneurs - the potential for developing business contacts between Belarus and Uzbekistan” of the first Belarus-Uzbekistan Women's Business Forum, BelTA has learned.

“Formats such as the Women's Business Forum are a powerful tool to iron out all kinds of differences, come up with smart and promising solutions to strengthen the unity of our peoples. I sincerely congratulate all of us on such a milestone event in the history of Belarus-Uzbekistan cooperation and a very important step in a long journey of our countries. This forum is opening up new opportunities to add fresh momentum to bilateral relations. During the forum, 14 memorandums and cooperation agreements will be signed, including an agreement on launching a joint leather and footwear production, as well as 14 contracts worth over Br60 million, or 226 billion Uzbek soums,” Natalya Kochanova said.

In addition to that, the forum serves as a platform for building contacts between leading women's and youth organizations of Belarus and Uzbekistan. “I have no doubt that this is just a start, and this event will have a ripple effect. After all, the topic of women's entrepreneurship is indeed very important and comprehensive: it covers almost all areas of life and is part and parcel of socio-economic development,” the speaker noted.

“Women's business acts as a driver of interstate processes that generate many positive social effects. These are mutual stimulation of business and investment activity, implementation of joint projects, creation of local points of growth, improvement of financial literacy of the female population, women's empowerment, unlocking human and economic potential at all levels. We see that women play an important role in business, economy, social activities and politics. Together we, women, can achieve a lot, together we can do everything. And this forum is a testimony to that as it is a unifying initiative of women of Belarus and Uzbekistan that seeks to build trust, solidarity and partnership,” she said.

Belarus is ready to support African countries in their quest for independence, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with Equatorial Guinea President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo on 7 September, BelTA has learned.

“Africa is developing, and the states of the African continent are gaining their independence. In short, Africa is freeing itself from its colonial legacy. You should know that we are fully committed to this process and will support the states that want to gain their independence,” the head of state said.

“We are a technological country. We are ready to share our technologies with your country and the African people. You will see something interesting here, get familiar with our production facilities. If you find something interesting, if you see that we are capable of doing something, if we, from your point of view, can help your state and Africa in general, tell us please and we will definitely do it,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
