"In 2018, the Moscow State Traffic Inspectorate brought to responsibility under Article 18.16 of the Administrative Code over 2 thousand drivers, and for repeated similar violations during the year - more than 100", - clarified in the traffic police. At the same time, 16 accidents with injuries in 2018 occurred in Minsk due to the fault of drivers in alcoholic intoxication, and 29 - due to the fault of drunken pedestrians. As noted in the traffic police, in some of these cases in the car were children.
This year, on January 12-13, the traffic police of Minsk held special events for the prevention of such accidents. As a result, 15 drunk drivers were stopped.
Traffic police once again urges citizens to immediately report to the police about drunk drivers and pedestrians.
